Rodakino beach

Rokadino is to the Rethymno southern side, close to the Plakias tourist village. This beach is a sandy and large beach. It has umbrellas and sunbeds organized partly and partly it is secluded. The crystam waters and soft sand of Rodakino beach is inviting making it an ideal choice for kids and families. It is also appropriate for people loving calm moments. Falassarna beach

Falassama beach is on the Cretes western side in Chania, near Kissamos town. This is an ideal place to go with kids and families as it has soft sand and offers organized facilities. It is good for windsurfing and there is Ancient Falassama, an archaeological site above the beach.

Tympaki beach

Tymbaki beach is in Heraklion, to the southern side. This beach has pebbled parts and is also sandy. It is referred to as Kokkinos Pyrgos and has sunbeds, umbrellas and seaside taverns serving local mouth-watering recipes. Tymbaki beach, geographically is between Matala and Agia Galini, two southern Crete tourist places, forming a convenient excursion base in this beautiful region.

Matala beach

Matla in the 1960s and 70s were referred as a hippie place. This is because hippies would spend here days and months in the Matala Beach caves. Today, it is a nice seaside village with an organized sandy beach, ideal for families. Matala is a comfortable place to stay in Crete and also ideal for excursions.

Plakias beach

Plakias is to the Rethymno southern side, Crete Island. This beach offers calm environment, tourist facilities and there is crystal waters and sandy beach. Plakias beach also has umbrellas and sunbeds organized, while there are apartments and fish taverns lining up the beach.
